A PLACE WHERE Young People Find Their Path.

A wellbeing farm where young people grow through connection to land, animals, and community.

In rural Australia, The Long Paddock is the name given to the travelling stock routes that crisscross the countryside. Historically, families and drovers relied on these tracks in tough seasons β€” moving their stock along the open routes to find water and feed. The Long Paddock was more than just a road; it was a lifeline. A place of resilience, resourcefulness, and community.

For us at Okeview, The Long Paddock is symbolic of growth and journey. Just as stock were once moved steadily along those tracks, our kids take their own steps forward β€” learning practical skills, building confidence, and finding their path in wide open spaces.

Our wellbeing farm program provides opportunities to connect with the land, care for animals, and grow strong roots in a community that values belonging, resilience, and hands-on learning.

Like the stock routes of old, The Long Paddock represents more than the destination β€” it’s about the journey, and the strength you find along the way.
